The biography of David Osborn, senior (1879) consists of a forty-six page typescript of an autobiographical sketch written by Osborn between 1860 and 1879. A postscript has been added by his son, David Osborn Jr. The biography details persecutions of Mormons in Ohio, Missouri, and Illinois; stories of his association with and death of Joseph Smith, Jr.; and his life in Cache Valley after emigrating to Utah in 1852.
